A new shine for a new centre
What had once been a military wasteland for a long time was revitalised with the erection of a new building complex: The so-called ‘Cambrai Triangle’ combines 47 residential units, a day-care centre and a cafeteria in one place turning a wasteland into a lively town centre. The adjacent park enhances the new character of this location, thereby making the new Cambrai Triangle much more than just a new building complex.
The entire project takes social responsibility very seriously. In addition to the integration of a day-care centre, the complex also boasts barrier-free apartments that create space for inclusive living and care projects.
The Huckelriede district in Bremen has changed greatly in recent years and is increasingly focussing on offering a high-quality living.
With the Cambrai Triangle project, we were not just looking to create residential space but also to make a contribution to the development of the entire area. The provision of urgently needed day-care places was just as important as the provision of integrated care projects, including sponsored projects, by means of housing suited to the needs of people with disabilities. And it was a matter of course for us to deliver a building with an extremely modern and attractive design.
